Safety Stirrups come with breakaway branches that release when under weighted pressure. This helps to prevent a rider from having their leg trapped or dragged during a fall.
 
The TG Equestrian Safety Stirrup break away band is an O-Ring made from Viton. Viton is a high-quality material known for its durability. Made from UV resistant material which prevents the O-Ring from becoming brittle and deteriorating over time.
 
Each pair of TG Equestrian Safety Stirrups is equipped with 2 Viton safety bands and comes with an additional 2 in the box. Additional safety Viton bands can be purchased online through our online shop.
 
Safety Stirrups are available in different colour variations.
 
MANUFACTURING:
TG Safety Stirrups are manufactured from aerospace-grade aluminium with a quick-release hinged branch which is activated via a UV-resistant O-ring and acts as a “break-away” in the event of a fall.
 
MATERIAL:
The TG Equestrian Safety Stirrups branches are made from aerospace-grade aluminium 7075. The foot treads are made from aerospace-grade aluminium 6082. The Safety breakaway branches are made from acetal. The additional traction grip spikes, joining bolts and TG pins are made from stainless steel. This prevents rust and wear.
 
The TG Equestrian Safety Stirrups band is a Viton O-Ring. Viton is a high-quality material known for its durability. Made from UV-resistant material, which prevents the ring from becoming brittle and deteriorating over time.

USER GUIDE:
The TG logo on the foot tread should read left to right under the rider's foot. All TG Equestrian Safety Stirrup breakaway branches must face outwards.
